The Challenge
In order to gain access to a slate of WWII weapons and vehicles, we needed to produce in rural Texas. This project was also produced during the COVID-19 pandemic, which meant we needed to carefully manage and ensure safety on set throughout the production. This also meant navigating COVID cases and related production delays.
The Toasty Strategy
In line with our methods, we wanted to assemble the best team possible to produce these commercials. We coordinated with the local Uvalde team, brought in key crew members from other parts of Texas, and pulled from connections out-of-state.
By keeping open communication with the talent agency, we made sure the celebrity talent was well taken care of. We also provided the client with remote, real-time production updates to make sure they could make critical decisions, like acting direction and final details in the art department. Despite needing to delay the shoot due to COVID, we were able to deliver the project on budget.
