We developed a cinematic advertisement to showcase the variety of gameplay in the mobile and PC game Rise of Kingdoms.

The Challenge

As with any longer promotional video, we needed a strategy to encourage viewers to watch the entire ad.

The Toasty Strategy

The game connects three different eras of historical wars, with dozens of options for costumes, weapons, and even civilizations. We strategically developed a large-scale production to highlight this. The video efficiently showcases the variety of players who would be able to enjoy the game from both PC and mobile phone platforms.

For the content, we challenged ourselves to outfit 10 soldiers and three war heroes with over 50 sets of costumes and weapons from various civilizations. We simulated five different armies: Roman, Persian, French, English, and Vikings. We shot 90% of the ad on a green screen, allowing us to recreate different realistic battle scenes.

With the tireless help of our Post Production Team, we set and met the client’s expectations from VFX concept art to final delivery.
